Weekend update: Saturday was a mixture - breakfast and lunch were just as they would be through the week, but my DH and I had a much needed date night (it has been months - several months - since we’ve gone out without both the kids) and we went to Lonestar and had steak, shrimp and lots of potato products. Sunday was just a free-for-all. Both of us ate too much and too unhealthy....

So it was after 8pm when I got home and it was pretty much 8:30pm before I got on the TM, but I DID! ANDDDDDD I jogged some…so there stupid, crazy day with your unhealthy schedule and not-so-nutritious food - I still win :o) And now I shower…I’m sweaty…EWW!

Posting now b/c the day is SHOT. I had a business meeting for lunch - catered by Pei Wei. I didn’t do horribly considering the options (one lettuce wrap, 2 spring rolls, small scoop of rice w/ some chicken and mushroom dish). Calories = 1,252 Exercise = 45 min/1.5 incline/3.2 mph (I know it is slow, but I’ll get faster) All-in-all a good day - I rushed straight home from work, changed into workout clothes and jumped on the TM. Got through 45 min before I had to hop off and take my son to his youth group meeting at the church. Then it was back home to make dinner for me and the younger one.

Weekend update...
Weekends are hard for me and the internet - I really try to disconnect and hang with the family. That not only influences how often I’ll post an update on Tumblr, but it also affects how much I track my food and exercise, which was spotty at best. Sooo…I’m realizing that it is way hard to estimate the calories I had today at lunch. Other than that, I hate relatively well today and I’m at 578 calories. Today was a good day; perfect - no, but a good day. School was canceled as of 5:30pm yesterday so it was a work from home day for me. I’m lucky to have that flexibility in an employer; I know many parents do not have such options. WFH days are always a little hard to navigate. Well - today was scarier than yesterday…but I rocked it anyway! Have a busy, but very productive morning - check. Get ridiculous amounts of snowfall in a very short amount of time - check. Get stuck driving with people who have lived here all their life and therefore should be accustomed to the way of life and not drive like idiots - check. So yesterday didn’t go quite as well as Monday, which, of course, is to be expected because Monday was a holiday so no work responsibilities and stresses. Not to mention lots of extra time. For my purposes Day 1 of the week is Monday (it just works in my head that way - starting on Sunday is just jacked up)…I kid! So for my day 1 (which was yesterday, but tumblr was down so I couldn’t post) I did pretty good.
