Who I Follow

I’ve done at least one mile for every day of this new year…that’s 14 days (aka 2 weeks). I increased my mileage by 9% this week, about which I’m happy.

Yesterday’s calories/nutrition left a little to be desired - I need to find ways of incorporating more healthy calories, including more protein, into my daytime diet. By the time I left work yesterday, I was only at 430ish calories and 6 grams of protein (first day I tracked). This probably explains why some of my walk/jogs have been challenging and why I’ve had a couple of can’t-eat-enough-starving type days.

Last night I made up the calorie deficit at Pizza Street…it was good and I’m not down on myself about it - I just know I need to get a little more serious about the day time calories or I’ll always be setting myself up for failure.

Started today off with boiled eggs and a banana for breakfast - still need to do the calorie/fat content on that so I’ll know where I stand (I know eggs are just as high in fat as they are in protein)!

Well Tumblrs - if 21 days can create a new habit, I’m one week away from my newest habit!

*BTW - Pizza Street was delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed that particular “free” night :o)
