Read, Run, Ramble

I'm just a girl on a mission - a mission to read many books, run (walk) many miles and ramble about it all!

This was dinner tonight…baked tilapia (used Fiesta Lime Mrs. Dash to season), roasted veggies (zucchini and orange cauliflower roasted with olive oil, Tuscan Mrs. Dash, salt & pepper, then drizzled w/ balsamic vinegar after roasting), green beans, and garlic herb & olive oil cous cous. Tasted fabulous, was filling, and also super healthy! Oh, and the glass of wine was DELISH!

Now the failed part - hubs and daughter hadn’t eaten (this is what my son and I ate), so I went with them to get their dinner. They decided to go to Jose Peppers (uh, can you say MY FAVORITE MEXICAN RESTAURANT…EVER)!? So I ate chips and salsa and part of a steak quesadilla. This could have been a lot worse, but it also could have been better…trying not to beat myself up too much about it.

Onto more GOOD news…hopped on the TM tonight for session #2 for a total of 6+ miles for the day. So all-in-all I’ll count Sunday as a break even day. Food didn’t win, but neither did I - we’ll call a truce eventually!
